of the Greater Milford Chapter
WHO
The
Milford Chapter of BNI® is made up of only one individual
of each respective line of business. For instance, we have
one web designer and one plumber. This is the most synergistic
design for the networking group since by default, our plumber
would always be the recipient of this type of service referral.
As a member of the group, you can rest assured that you will
not encounter any internal competition for work and in turn,
you won't have to make the choice as to whom to pass a referral.
With that, we currently span approximately 20 unique lines
of business, from computer training to nutrition. Please browse
our "Members" section to learn about our members.
WHAT
The
goal of membership is to be able to pass qualified
leads, or true referrals for business. We rate the "temperature"
of a referral on a scale from 1 to 5, 5 being the "hottest".
In the Greater Milford Chapter we strive to pass referrals
that can be considered a 4 or a 5. To educate each other on
our respective professions, we meet once a week and share
information. Essentially, fellow members are an extended sales
team, and sales people must be educated to successfully "sell".
WHY
Why
do we find time to meet with the group? Because it produces
results! By expanding your network of contacts you exponentially
increase your potential for new business. Feel free to ask
any of the group members about their success with the Greater
Milford Chapter.
WHERE
The
Greater Milford Chapter meets every Friday morning at 7 am
sharp. Meetings are held in the lower level of The
First United Church of Christ located at 34 West Main Street
in Milford, Connecticut. Meetings
are adjourned promptly at 8:30 a.m.

to the light at the junction of RTE 1

through the light, crossing RTE 1, continuing straight on High

the stop sign, turn LEFT, onto West
Main Street

straight for approximately .2 miles
The
church will be immediately on your left across from the duck
pond, at the corner of West Main and West
River Streets – watch for the signs

EXIT
39A (RTE 1 South)
The
exit ramp will loop and put you on RTE 1 South
Move
immediately to the extreme left lane
Continue
straight for approximately .7 miles (you will now be on Cherry Street)
Bear
RIGHT at the fork in the road onto West
Main Street (the duck pond and green will be on your left)
Proceed
approximately .1 miles
The
church will be on your right at the corner of West
Main and West River Streets – watch for the signs
Merrit
Parkway North and South
EXIT
54 (I-95/MILFORD/US 1)
Merge
onto the Milford
Parkway
Proceed
past the I95 exits
Take
your first local exit (RTE 1 South)
Proceed
through the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp to the intersection
of RTE 1
Turn
RIGHT onto RTE 1
Turn
LEFT at the first light onto High Street
At
the stop sign, turn LEFT onto West
Main Street
Proceed
straight for approximately .2 miles
The
